Find the OS Version and Kernel on Linux

 Type the following command to find Linux kernel version: uname -r.

[oracle@
testmachine1 Oracle]$ uname -r
3.10.0-1160.81.1.el7.x86_64
 
Type any one of the following command to find os name and version in Linux: cat /etc/os-release. ...
